Pete Schaus moved south to Virginia over 40 years ago. He initially had aspirations to be an artist, but found his creativity could be best utilized as a master carpenter in the building and construction trades. As a Superintendent for the last 30 years, Pete has overseen renovation/remodeling, new construction and historic rehabilitation projects for retail, residential, industrial and healthcare customers. Pete appreciates the relationships built with owners, architects and engineers that are critical for the successful completion of a project.

Pete and his Australian Shepherd Zip, live in the house he built in Howardsville, Virginia. He and his partner Cindy enjoy kayaking on the James and tooling around the countryside on his antique motorcycles.
